SOUL ART
SOUL ART is a natural lime finish inspired by Moroccan tadelakt and a craft tradition over 4,000 years old.
It is a versatile compound that can be used to create varied structures as well as traditional, delicate and smooth surfaces inspired by historical Tadelakt. It is intended for intensively used surfaces, recommended for circulation areas and wherever resistance to touching and scrubbing is required. SOUL ART offers an unlimited number of structures and colours. It uses the same colour range found in NATURAL CLAY plasters, allowing the design to continue with colours similar to the remaining clay walls.
TADELAKT TECHNIQUE BY SOUL ART
Tadelakt is a traditional decorative lime plaster originating in Morocco, valued for its exceptional smoothness, subtle sheen and natural appearance. It is one of the oldest finishing techniques and, thanks to its water resistance, has become synonymous with luxury in bathrooms, bathhouses, saunas and kitchens.
It is made from special lime from the Marrakesh region, quartz sand and marble powder. It is fully ecological and allows walls to breathe.
Tadelakt has a velvety, gently undulating structure with subtle tonal transitions. It has no joints, making it possible to create seamless surfaces, including on arches. Its appearance can readily replace finishes such as microcement, marmorino or matt stucco.
