MIKROCEMENT SYSTEM

MIKROCEMENT SYSTEM

MIKROCEMENT SYSTEM is a simple, traditional four-stage cement microcement intended for interiors. Microcement is a modern, hand-applied, thin-layer decorative and protective coating for screed, floor or wall surfaces.

At 2–3 mm thick and highly flexible, microcement can be used on many surfaces such as floors, walls, stairs, table tops and furniture fronts. With suitable impregnation using specialist varnishes, the microcement compound can also be used in wet rooms such as bathrooms, showers, saunas and swimming pools. The product’s flexibility and the ease of applying and working the microcement make it suitable for furniture making, shower trays and enclosures, and small architectural features such as planters, benches and decorative elements. It is also an excellent alternative for quick interior renovations where floor tiles have been installed. The system developed by ROOC for covering ceramic tiles with microcement allows application directly onto ceramic tiles, without removing them, which is particularly important for the time and cost of quick interior makeovers. Microcement is a perfect match for modern minimalist interiors and beyond. It is also an ideal complement to an industrial loft style. It works well in private apartments as well as commercial premises such as offices, shops, showrooms, restaurants and hotels.

STAIRS

Stairs play a very important role in architecture. They provide communication between floors, but they are also an inseparable part of a coherent, well-designed project. Well-designed stairs are often the main accent and take centre stage in a modern interior. There are many stair styles and finishing materials. Microcement compound can be one of them.

The versatility of microcement allows us to finish stairs decoratively in many available colours, from white through graphite to black. Microcement can be used to finish treads and risers, stringers, entire balustrades and stairwell walls. Its plasticity and ease of application make it possible to apply in hard-to-reach places such as sharp angles, tight spaces and corners. By choosing microcement as a stair finish, we gain a broad range of colour variants and application techniques, as well as the option of creating a single stair form whose colour and texture can flow freely into the floor finish throughout the interior.

This solution is an ideal complement to modern minimalist floating, winder or spiral stairs.
